"Zero-Footprint" Pocket Holster

The "age of the mouse gun" is here. Most of these little guns have almost no print at all. The problems with unholstered carry are 1) They eventually rotate the muzzle straight up (toward your head). That's not how anybody wants to draw their weapon from the pocket. 2) Open trigger guard. The thought of keys or other objects getting into the trigger guard makes me nervous. We created a number of models to choose from. We opted to mold all our holster to both sides equally. This minimizes the print on either side and creates ambidextrous usage. First, we created the first rigid ambidextrous self locking pocket holster. In the process we also created the "no flap over gun" concept method of removing "footprint" of a pocket holster by creating the illusion of a four point print. Many people asked if we could add a magazine pouch so we created the first "spare mag on board" ambidextrous pocket holster. The highest gun safety concerns are our children, we became the creators of the first lockable pocket holster by drilling a hole for a common padlock behind the trigger on double action only guns. The "L" after the model designation denotes "Lock Option" for ordering. Even if the holster is cut off the pistol it will not fire - even with a round in the chamber!

Stellar pocket holster models vary from one weapon to another because each has been created to capitolize on that pistol's best characteristics when we designed the holster mold. Each mold is unique to the weapon. Our pocket rigs have become so popular that many are now available for A.M.T. Back-up .45, Beretta Tomcat .32, Colt Pony Pocket-Lite / Mustang 380, Kahr PM-9, P380 Kel-Tecs P-11, P-32, P3AT, PF-9 North American Arms Guardian .32acp/.25NAA,.380acp/.32NAA, 22LR "mini-revolver" & 22 Magnum "mini-revolver",Rohrbaugh, Ruger LCP, Seecamp .32, Walther PPK / PPKs. To see if the model described is available for your pistol, just click on the order button for a listing of holsters. Below is a brief description and some images of the models we produce:

About "L" for "Lock Option"

All Stellar Pocket Holsters for double action pistols are available with the "L" for "Lock Option." This quite simply is to promote firearm safety and prevent "unauthorized use." We simply drill a hole behind the trigger so that if you choose to put a simple padlock through the holster; the weapon cannot fire. The hole does not interfere with function and simplifies fire arm safety at home. There is never an extra charge for the "lock option" (denoted by "L" on the order page).

About Stellar "C-10"

"C-10" is a Stellar Rigs Exclusive texture. This texture is very rough yet absorbs no moisture. we make it that way so that the holster doesn't move around as much as regular Kydex or smooth leather. It is so "tactile" and sticky people often say it picks up all the pocket lint it comes in contact with!

The "Model A" minimalist pocket rig

The Model A is a basic minimal holster designed to put the muzzle at the floor of your pocket while printing as wide as the distance from rear sight to magazine pad. As finger strengths vary from one person to another, this model is designed to be pushed off with one of your middle fingers while still in your pocket. This model comes with a hook to snag on the edge of your pocket to aid in stripping the holster off as you draw until you train strength into the fingers or as an optional method of deployment. There is never an extra charge for the "lock option" (denoted by "L") but the new rougher texture ("C-10") is $6 more. Currently we make the Model As for: A.M.T. Back-up .45, Beretta Tomcat .32, Colt Pony Pocket-Lite / Mustang 380, Kahr PM-9/40, Kel-Tecs P-11, P-32, P3AT, PF-9 North American Arms Guardian .32acp/.25NAA, .380acp/.32NAA, 22LR "mini-revolver" & 22 Magnum "mini-revolver", Ruger LCP, Seecamp .32, Walther PPK / PPKs and Rohrbaugh R9

Due to the popularity of the LCP and Kel-Tec P3AT for carry in tight pockets like jeans; we are making a "light Duty" TP (Tight Pocket) Model A that will allow a smoother "friction hold" on the weapon. This holster will not hold the pistol securely in bigger / loose pockets like Dockers or Cargo pants .

Model B or BL in Black $45.99

Model B or BL in Carbon Fiber Laminate $69.99

This is a basic "spare vertical magazine on board" holster designed to put the muzzle as close to the floor of your pocket as possible while still allowing for your fingers to get between the grip and the base of the spare magazine. This usually means a taller print and the muzzle is up 3/8" to 1 3/8" above the bottom of your pocket. If your model is not shown here you can get an idea of the layout by placing a magazine parrellel with the slide on a table (under the trigger guard) and putting just enough space to get between the grip and the base of the spare magazine. Again we go as wide as the distance from rear sight to magazine pad to achieve the illusion of a four point print. As finger strengths vary frome one person to another, this model is designed to be pushed off with one of your middle fingers on the square magazine base while still in your pocket. This model can also snag on the edge of your pocket with the spare magazine to aid in stripping the holster off as you draw until you train strength into the fingers or as an optional method of deployment. Often the spare magazine will slip out of the holster in the snag/draw method. Tension is set with a single two piece rivet to be medium to tight. Available for Seecamp .32 or .380

Model BL (NAA Guardian .380/.32NAA shown above) with Vertical Mag Pouch and a two piece permanent rivet. Tension is set at our shop to be Medium / Light using "ultra-thin" Kydex.

Model C or CL in Black $48.99

Model C or CL in Carbon Fiber Laminate $69.99

This is the same holster as a Model B (or BL) with an adjustable tensions screw instead of a rivet. Kel Tec North American Arms, Seecamp Kahr, and Rohrbaugh have been tremendous allies in shipping us samples of their newest models. A number of other companies have not been willing to send us a "dummie gun" so we made our molds from a customers gun. The Model C is available for: All the Kel Tecs, Beretta Tomcat .32, Colt Pony Pocket-Lite / Mustang 380, Kahr PM-9 and P380, North American Arms Guardian .32acp/.25NAA,.380acp/.32NAA, Ruger LCP and Walther PPK / PPKs

Any C or D holster ordered in Carbon Fiber laminate may be downgraded to a standard Black. It is much better to call first if you want the Carbon Fiber laminate material (561) 616-5015

Model D or DL $48.99

This is a basic "spare diagonal or perpendicular magazine on board" holster designed to put the muzzle as close to the floor of your pocket as possible by placing the Spare magazine under the trigger guard. This still allows for your fingers to get between the grip and the spare magazine. This usually means a lower print than Model B or C and is a little wider to always snag the spare magazine on your pants pocket. As finger strengths vary frome one person to another this model is designed to be pushed off with one of your middle fingers on the spare magazine while still in your pocket. Often the spare magazine will slip out of the holster in the snag/draw method. Tension is set with a Chicago screw.

Model D (shown with Kel-Tec P-32 above and below) with mag pouch in a diagonal position to lower the muzzle and a two piece permanent rivet. Tension is set with a Chicago screw.

Model DL (shown above with Berretta Tomcat) with Mag Pouch Same as Model D above but with the optional padlock hole behind the trigger. Model D $48

Model D (shown with Ruger LCP above) with mag pouch in a perpendicular position to lower the muzzle to 3/8" above the pocket floor. Tension is set with a Chicago screw. This perpendicular arrangement is also used for the AMT .45 Back-Up. All Moidel D Rigs are available with the "Lock Option" and in the very slick Carbon Fiber Laminate
